Secret of the Hidden Scrolls Book Reviews *VIDEO POST*

Ahavah and Alecia had an absolute blast reading the books, "The Secret of the Hidden Scrolls: The Beginning (Book #1)" and "The Secret of the Hidden Scrolls: Race to the Ark (Book #2)" by M. J. Thomas and published by WorthyKids/Ideals.

These easy reading paperback chapter books are roughly 100 pages and were the perfect reading level for my 7-year-old girls. The books are about two siblings, Peter and Mary, who live with their Great-Uncle Solomon's house accompanied by their dog Hank.

Great-Uncle Solomon has a jar filled with glowing scrolls that the children stumble upon hidden in the library. Once they brake the seal of a scroll, they are immediately brought back into time where they are faced with the challenge of solving the mystery of the scroll before time runs out. Racing against the clock, and often trying to stay alive, the three-some (Hank included), learn new characteristics about God and discover lessons that are applicable to their lives.

Hold onto your seat as you listen to a "summary" or "book report" recorded by my girls about each of these books! Please ignore the nose picking, and the children running around in the back ground. I tried to make these professional... I really tried... But I guess these reflect the homes that these books are enjoyed in :)

Here is Ahavah's review of "The Secret of the Hidden Scrolls: The Beginning (Book #1)"

Here is Alecia's review of "The Secret of the Hidden Scrolls: Race to the Ark (Book #2)"

We loved reading these books!

My girls kept asking me to get the next book in the series... but there isn't one yet! I hope that there will be more books to come.
