Christmas 2013

Our Christmas ended up being quite eventful!

Sunday (December 22nd) we had an Agape Feast with our church family, but we decided not to go to this since my husband has been working 12+ hour days 6 days a week this whole month. He needed rest badly! We spent the night making a "fireplace" to hang our stockings around. Saturday night I took some fabric paint and made these stockings from the dollar store look more fun!

Also that night we frosted the gluten free sugar cookies. Also, earlier that week, we made gluten free brownies and some Reeses peanut butter cup cookies.

Monday (December 23rd) we baked Hayven's birthday cupcakes and frosted them with any left over frosting I had in the freezer from the last few months (white butter icing, espresso chocolate icing, red, blue, and green icing...). We spent the night with Masha (aka Grandma, aka my mom) as well as my sisters.

Princess Candy Land?!? Who knew?? We have not stopped playing this since we got it!

A sideways picture of Hayven about to blow her candle out... okay I actually blew it out :)
Tuesday (December 24th) we went to our friend Tiffane's house for a Christmas Eve get together.

Wednesday (December 25th) morning I brewed a fresh pot of Dunn Brothers (my Christmas present from my more then generous sister Alyssa), and we let the girls dig through their stockings.

Then we packed up and traveled out to the boonies of Prior Lake to spend Christmas with my long-time friend and second family the Scholta's/Hentges! Katie Hentges and I have been friends for over a decade now I think. I was so so so blessed to be able to see the family and spend such a precious holiday with them! (I only regret not taking pictures!!!!)

Thursday (December 26th) we celebrated Christmas with our closest friends Jim and Erin Fisher. We got to hear their stories of their trip in Israel and Hayven got a birthday gift from her BFF Zoe.

We had plans Friday and Saturday, but they fell through so we spent those evenings relaxing at home together.

It was a wonderful Christmas Holiday filled with most of our dearest loved and cherished ones!

Oh! And did I mention my Christmas present from my husband?!?

“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture."
John 10:9
