Our marriage, how we raise out children, how we spend out money, how we manage our possessions, how we spend our time, who we spend our time with, how we vote, how we view politics, what we think is important and what isn't... all these things have and will be attacked simply because or world view is through God's Word.
Lord, Praise You! Thank you for the persecution that we face for it means that we are doing something right. Your Word tells us that we will be hated, but it's not us they hate, it's You. We know that You are or defender and that You will show justice one day. We know that Your cross is foolishness to those who are perishing. We know that the things we do make us look foolish to the world around us. Praise You Jesus! We love you and will not stop doing what You want us to do no matter what opposition may come. May You be glorified and lifted up always!
If you are being persecuted or always challenged by non-believing friends or family, hold onto the promises of the Bible! God is ALWAYS good. What He allows is His perfect will. It may not make sense to us, but we will understand when we are standing before Him in heaven.
When people are coming against you and what you believe (the Bible) remember:
"For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."
Romans 8:5-6
Don't lose hope! Keep the faith! Stand firm in His Word! Don't back down! In a world that wants to be wishy-washy and not firm on anything, a world that wants you to conform to it's patterns, stand strong and don't back down! Any advice or counsel you are given you NEED to go to the Word of the Lord and make sure everything people tell you lines up with His Word!
"Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age,let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.For it is written, 'He catches the wise in their own craftiness.'"1 Corinthians 3:18-19
